I am not happy with the pest. I called twice for pest control and it did not help with the issue. I barely cook and a clean freak. I saw two roaches coming from the outlet. I think theyre living inside or between the walls. I have lived at three other apartments with no issues prior to moving here. The crazy thing is that the rent is more expensive here. Im planning to move in a few months when my lease it over. I should have check out the place before renting here. Or at least read the reviews. It seems to be a recurrent issue with other tenants.

I have been here for more than 2 years and thought it was wonderful when I first moved in. My apartment was clean, it had fresh paint throughout, the grounds were well maintained, and they were so prompt and processed my application and approved me the same day, I even got my keys that same evening at 5 pm. Since then, I have had multiple maintenance requests for the exact same thing over and over. The resolution is usually to bang the faucet 3 times, that should make it work, or bang the ice maker and it will work. Or empty the lint from my dryer and then dry it on two more cycles and that will dry my clothes. I'm well aware that the sink faucet had so much calcium build up, it needed to be replaced, but it took 3 requests to get it. My freezer still puddles water on the floor and floods when I turn the ice maker on, but I'm just supposed to bang the drawer 3 times? And my dryer hose is bent, it doesn't properly ventilate, but I'm just supposed to turn the dryer on twice instead and use more electricity? I was hesitant to even post this because of criminal activity at our complex, but then again, criminals are probably not reading reviews to see where they should be robbing next, right? I have had open maintenance tickets for my alarm system for over two years. I don't care if it is connected to police monitoring, I was advertised that the unit had one, so I pay for one, but I don't have one that functions. There have been multiple excuses, and I brought it up once to the property manager, when I finally expressed some concern for my safety due to multiple incidents around the property, from car thefts, wheel/ rim thefts, a person broke into someone's apartment, and other direct safety issues towards me, I also mentioned my alarm not functioning... But no effort has been made to resolve it. One of the maintenance guys laughed at me and said "don't worry so much." They had sprinkler issues here for months that were finally resolved after I sent more than enough messages about it. The flowerbeds in front of the leasing office are flooded, they have to notice it when they walk into work in the morning and the flower beds are flooded? And when taking prospects on tours? The residents here don't pick up after their dogs, but that's not anyone's problem but the other residents who have to walk on feces all day. If I pay a $20 pet fee every month, they can't afford to buy from Amazon for a week while they wait for corporate to approve some waste bags? The management is super kind, they are very polite and they are super responsive, but their hands are tied by red tape to order parts or waste bags that aren't in the approved budget. They're over worked, under paid and pushed to hit numbers that are unattainable when like 300 residents are mad at all of the above. They tried to recently power wash the stairwells after who knows how many years, but they used bleach (in a dog friendly community, who uses bleach without fair warning) so I had to carry my dog up and down 3 flights of stairs because I didn't want him (as a senior) to spend 5 minutes walking the stairs soaked in bleach. The breezeways were a lot better, but the stairs were all still black. They never even gave us a heads up, I had to ask, "are they really using bleach to clean the stairs without notice to pet owners?" And I'm not over analyzing this situation, they had bleach running down the sidewalks into the grass and it reeked of bleach everywhere. Last year, I asked to renew my lease for 18 months at the rate of the market and guarantee they would have a renter for at least 18 months instead of 3 that were left on my lease. They declined and offered me to pay a transfer fee and provide a 30 days notice as the company policy. The company policy should take into consideration the same factors they use in approving tenants, especially when there are units that have been vacant for more than 6 months, and the variability in the pricing of the market, ability to pay rent, income, rental history, etc.
