Elizabeth Bond, DO

Elizabeth Bond seemingly takes her glitter nail polish more seriously than she takes patient care. I resent that I paid for an annual physical where she did NOT check anything at all!! But the summary notes in my patient portal say she checked my heart, lungs, skin, nose, ears, eyes etc.. She advised that as I get older, do not eat eggs or cheese in order to control cholesterol-- such basic information that google gives more detailed medical care. Elizabeth Bond is a DO-- doctor of osteopathy. This kind of doctor is supposed to take an integrative, whole body approach, educated on how the different systems affect each other. She did not seem to have much knowledge in response to anything I brought up. Worst doctor I've ever seen. I feel like I was ripped off! Why is someone so un-informed allowed to treat people?! I will not be back.

Elizabeth Bond is a medical doctor? I brought my teenager here for some health concerns about skin and sinus fungal infections. Bond said she has never heard of that and suggested we go to the ER. What?!! Go to the emergency room for a fungal infection??? Shouldn't a primary care doctor know about that? How about run some tests at the very least. Bond does not seem to take patients seriously. Hopefully no one comes to her for any major health problems. Houston Methodist is going to compromise their reputation with a "doctor" like this young and aloof gal. I will be disputing the billing for this appointment since Bond would not provide help, information, or treatment.

A rundown of my thoughts on this doctor: Displayed disinterest in listening to concerns. Provided either inadequate or no solution to all problems discussed. Suggested I go to specific doctors rather than just providing basic medical solutions - evidently clueless. Underlying judgy demeanor. I dont recommend this doctor, she seems under qualified and doesnt even perform a basic routine checkup even though thats fundamental in an annual physical. Its a waste of time and money to see her.

As another reviewer said, I arrived to news that the Dr. is "out today". They said someone tried to contact me. No call, voicemail or text. I am new to area and needed my yearly physical. I have waited for this appointment and scheduled on a holiday (President's Day) because my work schedule is very busy and it's hard to get a Dr. appointment scheduled. I rescheduled out of an abundance of caution for TWO MONTHS from now, but will not be back. Also, it's almost 10:30 and I fasted and I'm hungry.

I highly recommend Dr. Bond. She was so nice and I actually felt heard and not rushed. Her nurse was super sweet as well and I immediately felt comfortable. So glad to have found Dr. Bond!
