        My wife broke her ankle 3 months ago and when I took her to Houston Methodist emergency room in the Woodlands I was advised my wife would need an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon. I was very worried until we met Dr. Alex Davis in his office, his confidence when he told me my wife would be even better than before the accident put me at ease and he programmed the surgery for 2 days after. After the surgery my wife has been recovering according to plan, Dr. Davis did such excellent work that my wife has experienced very minimum discomfort on her ankle. I highly recommend Dr. Davis for anyone needing an orthopedic surgeon.

        Dr. Davis is a best in class surgeon. I am 47 years old and suffered a Bimalleolar fracture on my right ankle. He made sure there was minimal scarring and more importantly that I got my life back. 5 months after an ORIF bimalleolar surgery on my right ankle, the scar is barely visible and I am walking great! Very skilled and talented individual. Thank you Dr. Davis!

        The Drs. At HMTW are all very caring but also very focused when it comes to your care. Some peopled are so into feelings that they interpret being forced as not caring

        I've traveled over 100 miles to have my health managed by Methodist Hospital doctors. Majority of the time, my visits are good but the visit with Dr Alex Davis II was a disappointment. Impressed by his Methodist profile but was very disappointed during the visit because he did not display any of those spoken characteristics. I encountered poor bedside manner. The physician did not introduce himself. He did not apologize for the long wait. He did not display interest or concern about my condition. I was advised to bring images on CD and reports from previous physicians and he expressed no concern. Unprofessional Will not recommend this physician or visit with him again.

        Misdiagnosed me and sent me home with a foot pad to order from Amazon. He said it takes time for toes to heal. He should have referred me to a rheumatology. I have connective tissues disorder.

      Alex Davis, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.Dr. Davis has trained at some of the nations premier medical institutions. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he served as chief resident in Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.He has undergone advanced training on the cutting edge of foot and ankle surgery including total ankle replacements, complex reconstruction of foot and ankle deformities, joint sparing procedures, minimally invasive techniques, and use of stem biologies i.e. stem cells to improve function for acute and chronic foot and ankle conditions.Dr. Davis provides patients in The Woodlands, Conroe and surrounding communities with high-quality, cost-effective specialized orthopedic care in a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical modalities.  He is also available for second opinions.
