Sorenson, Marney K. - M.D.

In April 2021, I had a BTK amputation. Dr Sorenson listened to my fears and concerns and helped me in making the right decision for my surgery which could have gone a couple of different ways. Post-surgery follow ups at Dr Sorensons office located at Collum & Carney allowed me to meet some of his staff. Everyone I came in contact with was very compassionate, accommodating and extremely polite. I felt very comfortable in their care. Scheduling appointments was a simple process, as was checking in at appointments. I never waited more than 5-10 minutes to get in for a scheduled appointment. After being scheduled for an elective surgery with Dr. Sorenson we waited for over 6 hours for him to arrive. Not so much as a simple apology. His exact words " I've been working for over 12 hours straight so I dont have any empathy for you". My 79 year old diabetic father his been without food for over 18 hours but not even a simple apology. How about not scheduling elective surgeries while your on call? If hes the best in Texarkana.... you should go to Dallas.
