TruGreen Lawn Care

I have used TruGreen for a couple of years for the mosquito and tree service. This past season the service has become awful. Sloppy work, knocking over things in my yard and just stepping over it and leaving. The final straw was September 6th when they were doing the mosquito service, the worker slammed my privacy fence gate so hard he broke it. I was home and heard it, went outside to check and sure enough the gate was broken, and the guy was gone. I called customer service and let them know what happened and they said they would pass it on to a supervisor. I did receive a call back the next day and was told she was contacting and area supervisor and someone would be out. I heard nothing and called again Friday afternoon and was told they were emailing the area supervisor. Again, I have heard nothing. Called again today to be told they would cancel my service and forward my concerns to a general manager. In the meantime, I have a broken gate that I will have to pay to have repaired (my fence was replaced about 4 months ago, so it is not old) and to top it off it rained the afternoon of my mosquito treatment, and the mosquitos are worse than ever. It says in their advertisement if it rains, they will respray; yeah right! I would definitely steer clear of TruGreen, their services and customer service has definitely deteriorated. I would leave less than on star if I could.

The associates that perform the service are very nice. I appreciate receiving the detailed summary and recommendations after each visit. The price is good. The weeds are kept to a minimum and the grass responds well, so the number of treatments seems to be appropriate. Service: Weed control

Customer service is clueless and bad. Multiple almost haranguing phone calls during the sale process. Once they sell you, the customer service is horrible. My service was cancelled and never rescheduled. I had to call to get make a special request only to be told they could only give me a. Window for service .. the window was not specific... Something like a week or so. I originally requested service in early July. Here it is July 20 and no service to speak of.

TruGreen Came out to spray for aphids prevention on our trees. They KILLED my maple tree and damaged my Elderberry. The maple tree was flourishing with green leaves and it had a little bit of deer bark damage but the tree was flourishing and alive when they got here. Their technician was not thoroughly trained or educated because he shouldve known not to spray the tree with a little bark damage. They refuse to make it right.

Half a star would be too much. I was charged on June 3 for a lawn treatment requested via their website. The appointment was postponed several times without explanation. After two false claims of having treated my lawn, my husband visited their office and met with Eric Bellows who scheduled a third appointment. At the time of that supposed visit, our security camera recorded their truck driving up the street, making a u-turn at the corner of my property, and leaving the neighborhood without ever stopping. No treatment was applied and no one attempted to make contact with us (we were home). When the first two fictitious visits were reported, they refused to refund my money. Don't waste your time or money with this shady company. Service: Lawn pest control
