As a current employee of Bain and Barkley, I am grateful for the positive experiences I encounter on a daily basis. B & B is a busy firm which can be challenging at times, but our collaborative team turns challenges into positive outcomes. I feel appreciated by our employers through the various growing opportunities provided to us. I especially find our "Lunch and Learns" to be informative and helpful for everyday life. Being supported by my co-workers and employers has proven to make Bain and Barkley be the idea working situation for me.

I have learned so much from this job and continue to every single day. My coworkers are also very enjoyable to be around which is a huge plus. The clients are always very pleasant and professional to work with. Lastly, the benefits are awesome and there are several different options to choose from.

From an employee perspective, I like that I can learn and grow here, that the rules are clear, fair, and transparent, and that everyone is respectful. Friendly atmosphere! Also, maybe not the most important, but definitely adds up to everything, is the possibility of a hybrid/remote work. I like freedom, and I am a "night owl", working more efficiently at night, so this works great for me. But also, when I mentioned that I would like to start coming to the office after my bar exam, to learn more things in person (which I cannot learn working at home) and to bond with the team, my boss said I am free to come anytime:) I am happy I landed my first job after graduating from law school here, at B&B!

As an insurance professional for over 30 years, Bain & Barkley in Houston, SugarLand, has been my go to firm. Texas has some unique laws and statues that must be followed for insurance defense. Over these 30 years Bain & Barkley has never failed to advise and lead our insurance teams in the right direction. Mr Bain has taught many bad faith seminars to our adjusters allowing them to work with confidence that they are handling the claims fairly for our insureds, protecting them from sanctions in the bad faith arena, and allowing them access to contact them for consultation and leadership. Mr Barkley not only has taught many Ethics seminars to our company adjusters but also teaches young lawyers and students at Houston University to follow the "right way" to handle issues involving Ethics. I have handled many cases over the last 30 years and have trusted Bain & Barkley to lead us through the litigation process with confidence and success in todays litigation climate.
