This is the second time I've used Ergon Landscape and I've been very impressed with their communication, affordability, and overall performance. Where other landscape companies might take awhile to get back to you or even offer a quote, Eric has always been a straight-shooter with me and dependable when it comes to getting the job done. I was very pleased with every aspect of my interactions with Eric, from the estimate all the way thru to the work that he did on my yard.  I had a large trouble spot in my yard and Eric listened to my concerns, gave me a few possible solutions, and did the work we agreed upon at the time we scheduled.  He was very friendly and courteous as well.  I will gladly use Eric and Ergon Landscape for any future lawn care needs.

My front and back yards have been in a sad state, and I asked Eric to complete one of several projects that I have planned. The job was completed as promised, and everything looks good. His price was quite reasonable, and he was courteous and professional. I feel comfortable using him again in the future.

I wish I could provide zero stars. I contacted Eric, the owner of this company, via Yelp to obtain a quote for regular lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, etc) as well as cutting/trimming all our bushes. He said he would have to see my lawn for a quote so I proceeded to ask when he could come out and gave him my address. He then responded back that he looked up my home on Zillow and quoted me $35 a visit / $70 a month for biweekly or $130 a month for weekly (see screenshots of the conversation). I agreed and proceeded to call him the next day to find out when we could set it all up. On the call he shared with me that he had been scammed recently by someone calling him for a quote to an address they didn't occupy so he was hesitant to go drive to provide anyone an estimate and chose to instead use Zillow as his point of reference for servicing our lawn. I went over with him again, what all we needed such as the usual lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, etc) as well as additional shrub trimming. He agreed that his price that he quoted us of $35 per visit / $70 a month for biweekly or $130 a month for weekly, included all this plus fertilizing. When he arrived at my home prior to starting the service he introduced  himself and we went over everything to be done again to which he responded he had a look around before coming to the door and there should be no issues but if there were then he would let me know. He never told me it was more work or would have additional costs. However once service was complete he told me it would be $150! This was extremely unprofessional. I was put in a position to feel I had to relent to his costs as I had my kids with me and could not debate it with him at that moment nor did I know what kind of person he was if I tried to. I told him however that he should've said something before service if the price was going to be more to which he agreed and quickly apologized but did not budge on the new price. He took my kindness for a weakness and openly engaged in chit chat about his own family to soften my stance on the charges. For that, I take responsibility and should have known I was being conned. Integrity and a person's word is everything! Once he left, I immediately contacted my husband who then called him to question him on the charges. He made excuses and told him that he would've expected someone to stop him from doing anything extra if we didn't want it. Excuse me?!!! You expect me to stop watching my kids and watch you do your job the whole time to ensure you are doing what we agreed to??? He even went on to say he had a horticulture degree and never had anyone question him before and had raving reviews from clients in California where he worked before moving here. My husband told him he took advantage of the situation and didn't care about what credentials he had, it wasn't about that or if he did a good job, it was about he agreed to a specific price beforehand then cornered me with another without prior warning, perhaps knowing and counting on that I would be kind and wouldn't try to argue with my children present. After a long talk between them, my husband and Eric agreed to just meet halfway and have him return half of the costs back to us ($75).  It was the least he could've done but I cannot allow someone else to be taken advantage of by this guy. BE VERY CAREFUL! We will obviously not do business with him again.
