I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Nadia Malan and the staff! Nadia literally called me within minutes after I hung up with someone I was reaching out to in Houston for help being that I live out of town, as I did not know what to do wanting to help an 82-year-old gentleman in Houston with no family that had to be discharged immediately from a hospital, but could not go back to his independent retirement apartment and this person said I will give your number to a lady I know that can help you. Nadia that called me so quickly is the most caring, sweetest lady, Community Liaison, for this amazing Hospice and Home Care Service that wanted to help me in a heartbeat and ultimately once the gentleman was taken to the 24 hour Assisted Living Home, I chose with her help too, she drove over to meet me and the gentleman to have a better idea of his needs. In a short amount of time, after evaluating him, she was able to have him approved for the best care possible for him with Pax Et Vita Hospice, as well as other needs covered, giving me so much peace of mind! Additionally, she cares so much for him and the other Seniors in this Personal Care Home she was offering future activities for the residents. I can reach out to her on the phone at any time should I have a need, or a question and she immediately responds, addressing everything, providing clarity and valuable information with her experience and again amazing sweetness! Nadia is an Angel!! :)
I was able to speak with Annabelle, Pax Et Vita's Registered Nurse/Case Manager multiple times, answering right away. Very experienced, nice, and patient with my many questions again giving me peace of mind!
I recently met, while visiting the gentleman, Pax Et Vita's Hospice Nurse, Salima Barolia, and she is so caring in her role engaging with the 82-year-old gentleman...kind and very assuring! Each visit she checks many things to stay on top of the senior gentleman's weekly assessment! Great nurse!!
Janet Gomez is Pax Et Vita's Social Worker. What a Blessing! Janet makes me feel such joy for the senior gentleman when visited by her; under her care, as she has done so much for him each visit and I believe she is the one that has helped him tremendously in this transition of going from living on his own to now being under Hospice Care needing help with everything. She listens to him, being patient and sweet, knowing he's hard of hearing and it takes a while to get his confidence, recognize her and understand why she is there. She is just great with himultimately, because of her patience, for him to feel appreciative, calm, and happy. I am personally appreciative of how caring and understanding she is with him having very advanced dementia. Janet from the beginning has called or texted me with updates, and always responds to me when I reach out to her, giving me peace of mind each time! I am so appreciative of her time to do that. Janet is an Angel!! :)
