Houston CityPlace Marriott at Springwoods Village

We chose this hotel for out wedding after checking out several other venues in the area. The Oak Ballroom was simply perfect when we walked in, so we ran with it. The process was almost seamless. Kristin, the event coordinator we were working with, was amazing and made sure that every detail was taken care of. The only hiccup we had in the whole process was that communications were a little slow when trying to set up the block of rooms for our attendees, but that was a different person. Day of event was amazing. The room was set up with a few finishing touches that needed to be handled, but the event itself was perfect. The staff took care of everything seamlessly. Our wedding even had a slight delay, due to family, not the hotel, and the hotel staff rolled with it, adjusting the timing of everything. In addition, the rooms are very well kept. I've stayed at many hotels and they often have little maintenance things that have been done poorly, leaving the rooms or bathrooms looking a little shoddy. This place does not have that. All the rooms we saw as well as the rest of the hotel, were immaculate. In addition to the event staff, the other staff were just as nice and helpful. From the bartenders to the front desk staff, we enjoyed interacting with them all.

It is a beautiful place. Went for a banquet at one of the big rooms (where btw were few cockroaches that needed to be killed:)). Food was good, but the sound during the event was awful. I can't provide feedback on the rooms yet. Definitely a pretty area but can improve on these things.

Excellent full service Marriott and has walking trails all around and lots of walkable nearby restaurants This hotel is clean and well appointed with M club lounge (Marriott Bonvoy) on ground floor with well stocked snacks and evening snacks infact a meal at night can be had in the lounge itself Rooms are clean and parking is easy to get to. Had no trouble in getting car on time through valet. Good hotel to stay and relax. Highly recommended.
