This place is nothing but a rip off. I went there on my first visit for teeth cleaning and the hygienist did a very good job. The whole process cost me and my insurance close to a thousand dollars if not more. I thought that was strange but that was their price and I paid it. My second trip I needed a crown on my right bottom the very last tooth that is my wisdom tooth. The tooth was cracked and it was packing food. Dr. Bates did the procedure and for what I know, he grind the tooth down for the crown to fit. A temporary was made and placed until my permanent crown could be placed. Now I received the permanent crown and now heres where my problem begins. I paid my part and the rest was left to my insurance. Well, for some reason Dr. Bates said that he had to build up the crown to fit. My recollection I dont remember him doing anything like that or telling me that he had to. The space between the bottom and top was so tight I dont know why that was necessary. So my insurance denied paying for a build up because they said it wasnt necessary. Now they are sending me a bill for the build up that I dont recall ever happened. My insurance said I dont owe Dr. Bates any more money because what he did was unnecessary. I refuse to pay the remaining balance because I dont think he ever did it. If they continue to pressure me for the remainder of the bill I will take this matter to court for falsifying service. They never told me up front what would be covered by my insurance and what my part would be. I never been to a doctor or dentist office that didnt contact the insurance company before the procedure. Make sure everything is explained to you before doing any business here. I made that mistake.

I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was so friendly and professional! My dental hygienist, Chris, was absolutely wonderful. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place and I look forward to my next appointment.
