Disappointed in this daycare regarding teacher ratios, assisting children with development, and discipline policies. Class sizes are large. Some teachers are not education certified to teach children at specific age groups, no structure in classrooms with way too many transitions, has children sitting at the door for 20 minutes to transition between activities and expect them to do that easily. Teachers rather put a 3-year-old who is mostly potty trained in a pull-up instead of assisting them in their development. The main disappointment is my child got sent home one time for behavior then the next day I was told he would be disenrolled. They could have given a heads up like if this happens again they will be disenrolled or allow time for me to explore ECE before kicking him out, but could not even get that courtesy. Not to mention that my son got hit multiple times by other kids up ok drop off and nothing was said. So who knows if my child was being bullied and they only saw a reaction. They do not do a good job at communicating with parents. Just sad that if your child is not perfect you are out of a daycare provider.

Ms. Lauren is an amazing Pre-K teacher and deserves all 5 stars! She goes above and beyond for all the kids in her class. She does absolutely everything she can to ensure the best education for every child she teaches. I cant recommend her enough!

We have been at Koti for 2 years now. My oldest (now in kindergarten) struggled at the past daycare. Ms. Shelby and Ms. Lauren really made an effort to teach and help him grow! They are wonderful especially with communication! My youngest started a right under 1 and he strived! Ms. Heather along with the others helping in the room were amazing! She still adores him even though he has moved up into toddlers class. The two directors listened to my concerns anytime I had them. While there was a little issue with staffing and a few concerns, they got back up to speed and address any issues. My youngest is striving. The toddler class is organized and my son loves it. Ms. Saloan and Ms. Nicole really have made my son feel comfortable. He can be pretty demanding with who he accepts lol. He has a hard time at first when moving from the infant class. I appreciate them working with us through the ups and downs. I waited to do this review because I wanted to make sure I was fully comfortable with my review. The last daycare I was with with for over 3 years and it went down hill fast. This one has not!
