Was purchasing gas and went inside to get some beer. The price of the beer was posted on a banner above the beer in the cooler. I went to pay for it and the guy tried to over charge me. I told him the price he told me I was wrong. So I said let go in the cooler you will see. He talked down to me the whole walk and then ripped the banner off the way. We went back to the register and he started talking trash again. I told him to honor the price and he the said he was the owner of the store and told me to get out. I already contacted Chevron but want people out there to know we have a nut case working at Chevron. I really dont think he the owner but if he is he going to put himself out of business.

I really wanted this place to be my go-to gas station because of the variety of food and drink options but the customer service needs to be re-evaluated. I dont expect a lot from gas stations either but I do draw a line at being falsely accused of committing a crime. Bare in mine, Ive already purchased both non-alcoholic/alcoholic drinks a couple occasions beforehand. Although, my ID was a little beat up after switching from wallet to wallet so when the clerk saw it, he laughed and kept repeatedly telling me its a fake (they dont have the technology to scan IDs). After a good 5-10 minutes of back and forth, I told him to call the police, he refused, and sold me the small can of ros anyway. I came back the next day to show him medical records proving my DOB and he didnt even say Im sorry or My bad, just kept trying to justify it and told me he didnt understand why I was annoyed with the situation. I understand the frustration clerks must feel with kids getting them in trouble for that kinda thing but have some decency and recognize your faults. Some people just want to go home and relax, not argue about their age after a long day of work.
