I have been playing regularly here since Aug 2022. If you want to play 1/3 NLHE or 1/3 PLO, this is a great place to play. The place is run as an above board business, not some shady club. When Poker Atlas shows they have one 1/3 NLHE game running at 4am on a Tuesday, that's a real game filled with real players (not house players or floors). When they run a promo, it is real and they make good on it. They ran a March Madness promo where the winner received a fully paid package (flight, hotel, tickets, etc) to the Final Four and I was lucky enough to win it. I have also won several smaller promos at this location and I have always been paid out. Some reviews below say that this place is not as good as it once was. To some degree, I agree with them. They used to offer a time match about once per month; pay $100-$500 up front and they would double it (e.g. pay $200 and get $400 in time). They used to offer high hands, freeroll tournaments with cash payouts, and steel wheel bonuses for PLO. All of that stopped 6+ months ago. I think management is listening to some of the players' complaints because they still offer a time bonus from time to time (best deal is $500 for $750 in time). In April, they are offering $100 for $130 in time all month long. All that being said, this is still the place I play at in Houston the overwhelming majority of the time. The games/action are the best in Houston and the dealers are the best in Houston in my opinion. Lastly, I think the drink prices are fair. They charge $3 for a large Topo Chico (18 oz I think). It used to be $2. I don't usually drink here, but I bought a Modelo last week for $4. Those prices seem reasonable to me.

Really disappointed in the management of this place. Had a controversial call at the table and one manager didnt care to hear my side of the story, luckily another manager came over and actually listened to what I had to say; however, the other manager sat there and continued attempting to intimidate me while I was speaking with the other gentlemen. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Recently decided to give this place another chance, and place is filled with a bunch of regulars that take advantage of the new guy at the table. Take your business elsewhere.

Everyone is leaving! For the past few months it seems that TCH Spring has lost focus on their customers. People go to a card house to play poker...and management has lost sight of this. The free time hours got shifted to 6am, but rarely is a 1/3 going that early. You have to either wait a while for the game to start or you have to sit in a deep stacked plo game with players that have been there all night and have 5k in their stacks. Because of this the regular morning players have stopped showing up. In addition, the amount you have to pay for time is higher than the Westheimer location which is an insult to the Spring players. I don't feel like subsidizing another card room less than an hour away by paying higher fees. In the last two months there was a super bowl promo and now they are doing a basketball promotion. Here is an idea....why not do POKER promos (high hands, bad beat hands, random seats win time, etc). Instead of promoting other sports....why is there no promotions or satellite/ladder tournaments to win seats into the WSOP? I mean really, the WSOP schedule was released this week and a lot of your players plan on attending. At a minimum you could also run satellites into your own tournaments. The promos should focus on getting customers to play more poker. Also why is TCH Spring the only TCH cardrooms without a livestream table for cash or tournament final tables? You would think after a 100k renovation that they would have made the livestream table operational. Oh well, it may have been too expensive and taken money away from the art gallery in the men's latrine. Seriously how do you complete a renovation and not have the contractor put an access panel over the hole in the men's bathroom. Instead you decide to buy some cringe dogs playing poker art and lean it up against the urinals where they can absorb the piss odor. Hoping things get better because the staff is great. It's sad to see the decline over the past 5 months.

Very professional atmosphere. I was originally very hesitant to visit card houses. However, once i had been here, i realized the entire establishment was so professional, well maintained, clean, and organized. Very decent tournaments with well-behaved guests.

Love the atmosphere. They use to run time specials but that stopped last year at the same time the drink prices were raised. I don't spend my money on drinks there anymore because of that, but the action is good and I leave in the plus most of the time whereas before I'd socialize more than grind. Thank you for helping me get my priorities straight! Ha! I'm there once every week or two. I wouldn't bounce around as much if the time specials were back though since this place is closest to home.
