Our Colleyville HOA signed on with Cutting Edge in Oct. 2022. The package included full lawn maintenance service as well as their lawn treatment and lawn color change packages. It was accompanied by a calendar of service dates for many of the actual services mulch, fertilizer and pre-emergents, color, and mowing. None of the services in the secondary package were ever completed. Nor were some of those in the basic lawn maintenance agreement, including mulch.
We didnt realize how poor the quality of work and follow up was though, until the mowing season began. Since then, Cutting Edge has missed multiple weekly cuts, our shrubs are overrun with invasive ivy, and we have a significant weed problem. Our contact attempts were unanswered until early June after Cutting Edge missed the first scheduled mowing for June and committed to make up the missed mowing, as well as put in the mulch and color. In the interim, the payment for June services was made.
Cutting Edge was a no show on the follow up neither making up the missed cut, nor fulfilling the other obligations they had committed to. They missed the next cut as well and have not stepped foot on HOA property in June, despite being paid in full for the month. They have completely ghosted our HOA and will not return calls or messages. We are in the process of replacing them.
