Hello Noah. I'm sorry that you are unhappy with the price of our service. It's a bit confusing why you are posting this. As you can hear from the audio clip linked below, we have a recording of your phone call with our technician where he told you what the price would be prior to commencing on the work and you told him to proceed. He told you that $169 plus tax would be the balance due at the time of pickup, and you gave verbal approval. He did explain also that the diagnostic fee paid at drop off would be applied as a credit to the total of $268. As the owner I consider setting and managing expectations to be a critical part of a positive customer experience, and Nathan explained everything to you on the phone as can be heard in the recording below.As for our rates, they are fair and reasonable for our turn around time, quality of work, and long-standing good reputation in our community. There is nothing about running this type of business that is cheap starting with the skilled labor, general overhead, insurance, taxes and the list goes on. Our price point for repairs is set to where it is due to all those dynamics. There are other places that don't execute work with the quality or speed that we do, and it is reflected in their prices and reputation. We had to order parts for your computer, and it was still completed and in your hands 3 business days later. Some people won't spend $100 to fix a $1500 computer just because they want an excuse to get a new one, and others will spend $500 to fix a $300 computer just because they don't want to go through the hassle of setting up all their accounts and software on a new computer. Every situation is different and it's not our judgement call to determine the validity behind every customer approving or declining a repair.I see that you posted 2 one-star reviews to our page. Your other account is Thedizzymoose. I will be copying and pasting this response there as well. In light of the fact that your claim is false I would ask that you delete both of them. You just received fast, quality service at a rate that you we're given full notice of and have responded with nothing but negativity in response to the very price that you gave approval on.EDIT: A public response to a libelous claim is wild? I only post recordings when libelous claims against my company are made. It's part of protecting our good reputation. Regardless of my opinion on pricing, you have posted a one star review on the merits of a lie about your experience with us. Asking for reviews containing false information to be removed is quite reasonable by any standard.
