Stopped on 3/15/24 and spoke to a very friendly gentleman who was cutting the grass. He informed me that the BBQ had closed back in December of 2023, and there are no concrete plans to re-open so far as he knew of.
They will still open for certain occassions such as fundraisers (we were there the weekend prior for a shrimp boil to benefit the Burleson County Cops4Kids charity) but that will happen very infrequently.
He mentioned checking their Facebook page as a means of getting the most current information available in the future.
