We both ordered the Habanero Chicken Sandwich. One was hot, the other strangely was cold. The French fries were not cooked thoroughly as they tasted like raw potatoes. I brought the cold sandwich to the waitress's attention. She took the sandwich back to the kitchen then came back to the table to tell me I didn't know what I was talking about as the cook said the chicken was warm. She said the cook would microwave the chicken. They did but the chicken was extremely tough afterwards. In addition, we waited 30 minutes for our food as people who came in after us were served before us. It was a disgusting meal.

I really love finding great out of the way restaurants where the people are nice and the food is beyond expectation. Sirloin done to perfection and my wife's chicken salad was great. Always love onion strings!

We called about 5 minutes to close not sure of what time they closed. Not only did they take our order but I wish I had gotten pictures. The Chicken fry was beyond huge but the flavor was BIGGER. The loaded baked potato was good. The mac and cheese 10/10. Thank you Grifs for the amazing food and for doing it 5 minutes before close.

Just recently my husband and I were recommended to eat at this steak house. The biggest mistake made. We both ordered the hamburger steak dinner. The hamburger was a frozen cooked patty with mashed potatoes that tasted like a quarter real red potatoes mixed with the rest powdered potatoes. The gravy came from a can or jar. How can you be in Texas and have brown gravy that was watered down with no flavor. The only thing on that plate that was fresh and good was the grilled mushrooms and jalapeos. The establishment needs Bar Rescue to come in and do a makeover. The chairs were worn down to the fabric of vinyl covering, walls dusty and floors needing to be redone. The establishment was dark and gloomy even for dining and bar area. Witnessed only two women taking orders, serving customers and taking care of the bar. More than once I witnessed the bartender leaving the bar unattended for over 3-5 minutes. Maybe they were short handed for the night as noticed for a Tuesday night. Hospitality, training and management could use a boost to take care of the place. It has real potential. I am glad other people enjoyed the place and food. I wish we did.
