Baylor Scott & White Clinic - San Marcos

Christie Dapp is my provider and I could not be more pleased! She relates to me, is knowledgebale and professional. This is my first experience with a totally digital platform, even though I have once or twice used a remote one time tele visit. I am new to the clinic and am amazed at the efficiency and sophistication of your portal. So easy to access everything. I have referred 3 family members and one neighbor.

ONLY Clinic to go to!!!!! The two staff members who greet you and take your temp are always happy and kind. And the facility is CLEAN!!!! Best Clinic I have been to in all my years of living here. Worth the drive. And you don't have to pay for a second visit for results. They are uploaded online for you. Update: There are a lot of new Staff since 2022. I could do without the snippy Aides? They are not Nurses for sure. Ladies at front are still great. I have not been able to get a single referral to anyone good. They only refer you to Baylor, White, Scott Docs but they all suck except for Rachel McGinnis. So if she leaves, I leave.

I won't be back.This clinic was not worth my time. I have never had to pay for the basic blood work covered in my insurance.Christie Dapp lies to get more out of me and my insurance and put in extra testing that wasn't medically necessary she misused medical resources had more blood taken out than needed. She cares nothing about health care economics and doing what is only necessary. She told me if I do the basic lab blood work it will be covered and that she will code it that way. Next thing I know I received a bill. The medical billing said did I go to cardiac office I said no, I called to speak to someone else they changed the information over the phone saying oh they checked your thyroid blood. I called again another medical biller said oh it's just for co pay the exuses just change with these people. She lies to get money out of military people this is the wrong clinic to go to.

I constantly have problems with this office and prescriptions. Just a lack of professionalism. They refuse to release prescriptions to you unless you come in office multiple times a year. Im going to have to cancel my provider here and find another. I dont recommend . I recommend going to find a doctor/provider in Buda instead. My doctor was Rachel McGinnis. On multiple occasions, she gave me a hard time with my prescription. She also misdiagnosed a foot injury i had that led to surgery. She told me my foot was completely fine, in actually I ended up having extensive surgery on my foot. She continued to give me a hard time every single year. I would recommend going to someone else if you would like to see Rachel McGinnis. Poor services.
