Lots of dog owners dont pick up their dogs poop so its all around the place , Ive had my dogs attacked by other dogs already twice in a week because they arent leashing their dogs that clearly ARE NOT trained. When I moved in my unit had paint splatter ALL over the place from the doors,floors, countertops even the door handles. Just kinda seems like maintenance is either not really attentive as to what needs done or just dont care.

Be careful about hidden fees. They will charge you for several things and then claim it was a mistake. That is if you catch them in time.

While living here as an occupant on my parents lease, the lease's end date was coming up and I was instructed to come sign the lease again to extend occupancy on my parents lease. At the time of signing i was experiencing difficulties with my disabled 2 year old son and only followed direction to sign where the leasing agent had directed me. I explained I am an occupant and I am only to sign to be an occupant under my parents responsibility of the lease and by the agents mistake i ended up signing in the wrong space as a tenant who held financial responsability of the lease. Mistakenly the leasing agent then submitted me into the system as a tenant. A few months later, I moved into my own home with my son. And after a year of moving out of my parents apartment I experienced a hit to my credit. Concerned, I called Hawthorne on Blanco River. 02/28/24 This is managements response to my concern: Bringing this issue to manager Sylvia's attention, i explained what the delima was and what happened during the time of signing. I was then shocked to receive several rude remarks from her. Sarcasticly, she made fun of me saying "what? You don't read where you sign?" She then compared other tenants to my situation claiming "there are lots of tenants that don't make any money and they can still live here" making me feel irrelevant and less of a person to deserve the change of error from tenant to occupant on my parents lease while also assuming I didn't have a job. She then explained to me that "she was not there during the conversation of me signing the lease, so she cant help me" she repeated this several times and interrupted me as i was explaining why this is a sensitive situation and i needed her help. She refused to assist me in a time of need by correcting the mistake made by the leasing agent and also myself because I was helping my son instead of reading the papers I was instructed to sign. She sarcasticly directed me to the credit claims dept. Saying "Brittany, you can dispute the claim but, the signature is clear on the tenant line of responsabilities." basicly saying shes not going to help me reguardless of my attempts to help myself. I am very offended by the lack of professionalism by management at this location. Lady Management of 2022 to present date made fun of me for signing in the wrong place on my parents lease agreement and showed no remorse for me and my concerns about my credit being effected. P.s Also while living here my disabled parents experienced several several several AC issues and leaking in the walls and floor from the AC. They were very hot during the summer time and were forced to live with the windows open. The AC was never changed or properly fixed correctly during the time they lived there.

This property is really nice and, the apartments were beautiful. McKenzie (leasing agent) did a great job with the tour of the property. And she is really nice! If you ever stop by for a tour ask for McKenzie!
