Owner Ed ruined our night. My wife and I have been here a couple times with friends and each time it was fine, but certainly nothing spectacular. The owner was there both times we had went, and we were able to put up with him. Today was a different story. He must think running his business is a game, which I can respect given it is HIS business, but I cant respect it when it directly affects our evening. (Im surprised there are no other complaints about him; probably just pays Google to delete them). First of all, he goes around talking to all the tables and seems to overstay his welcome at some. I usually dont mind having the owner come over and check on us, but not here. Hes like an infomercial that just doesnt end. Hes constantly trying to push his overpriced and underwhelming wine club membership. None of that was the issue today, though. My problem began when he started yelling order up! every single time he brought a pizza inside. It could be heard throughout the whole vineyard, and it was quickly getting annoying. I dont know why he was working in the kitchen, but Im assuming it has something to do with staffing. Im sure employee retention is difficult when the boss is a man-child. Many of the employees and customers looked annoyed by Ed, and I cant blame them. STAY OUT OF YOUR CUSTOMERS BUSINESS. I know Ill be staying out of yours

I was so excited to come here and try the food and wine. We made reservations online but when we came in, they said they did not see our names on the list. We put our names on the waitlist and sat to wait for a table. While waiting for a table, we saw online that they had a reservation for 7:30 so we booked that just in case the wait was too long. After waiting and making the 7:30 reservation, we saw another couple come up for a 7:30 reservation and get seated immediately. We had to wait an extra 15 mins to get seated after them even though we had already waited 30. We sat very close to the other couple and heard them order a pizza. Two minutes later, we tried to order the same thing, but was told the oven wasnt working and the kitchen closes in 10 minutes. We were offered a complimentary glass of wine, but overall this experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. The view is beautiful but not worth the awful experience. My boyfriend and I are young compared to everyone else there so I am unsure if that was the reason we were treated differently. Also they shouldnt have open reservations online if they are unable to accommodate those who make them.

Wow! Beautiful winery! Owner is extremely nice and wonderful to speak with. Staff was amazing. The place is gorgeous. Beautiful hidden gem. Kind of wish it wasnt on Google so I could keep it to myself. If you enjoy wine even a tiny bit, spring for the membership. Its worth it!

Having the best experience at In Contrada Vineyard today! Traveled from Arizona to have the best Montepulciano EVER. Wish we lived closer. Gorgeous grounds, awesome owner, Ed. Thanks for a wonderful afternoon.
