Alamo Truck Gear - Line-X of San Antonio

I called as I wanted to lift or level my truck. My info was taken down, and I was told I would get a call the next day. It has been a week and no contact. I wouldn't recommend Alamo Truck Gear. Their hours are also horrible, and they should look into being open Saturdays.

Im old school. A handshake means a lot to me when Im doing business so thank you for that, Roy. These guys did a great job on the Line X and toolbox installation. Dropped off at 8:00 was told ready around noon. 10:00 phone call letting me know it was ready. Total of 2 hours and done. Perfect example how customer service should work. Too many shops over promise and under deliver. Not these guys. All around 5 star performance.

I can only share my experience. I purchased some after market accessories in late july 2022 and had them installed on my new super duty. The accessories included a headache rack and weather guard toolbox. I had some issues with the toolbox latch opening and closing properly. I reached out to weather guard and they replaced the toolbox which was great. After removing the original toolbox that Alamo truck gear installed which was bolted down (manager said that it had to be bolted down and j hooks would not work) I noticed two drilled holes on top of each other on the drivers side bed rail. I took the truck back to Alamo truck gear and spoke with the manager (Joshua) Basically the manger said that it was a mistake but they didnt do it intentionally and to just put the toolbox back on and cover the hole with a washer . He also said that it was not their fault that I took the toolbox off and changed the configuration of the truck. Not really sure how that had any relevance but if your looking for someone to install your aftermarket accessories and dont mind the occasional extra missed drill hole in the railing of your headache rack and truck bed rails, this is the place for you. I also had to take my truck in a month after the installation for bad wiring on the headache rack. Id really hate for someone to have to go thru that same experience.
