Tong's Thai Restaurant

Great Thai food. Was visiting San Antonio and looked up Thai food there were several close to our hotel but we drove 20 min out to go to this one because of the reviews and menu. Glad we did as the service was great and food was delicious. Cute place, fast service.

Pretty good Asian food. My hot & sour soup was good, but a little too spicy. Tongs Thai bowl was good and flavorful. Been coming here for years and the food really hasn't disappointed. Great service.

We ate here again for lunch! We have been at this place more than 4 times now and we still love it! - 6.24.2023 My husband and I came here for lunch. The place is just near the main road so its easily recognizable. The parking space is tight. Thankfully, we werent there during peak lunch hours. We were there about 1pm. Hubby ordered Thai hot something (I wasnt paying attention to what he ordered), and it was really hot. So hot that he asked for milk (they dont have milk so they gave hubby whole cream) to help ease the spicy-ness. I order it he red penang curry, and Oh man! it was excellent! We wanted tom yum soup, but they dont have small servings and the full serving might be too much for us already. The serving for this place is just right. The steamed rice was presented in a heart shape. For drinks, hubby ordered Thai coffee while I got the Thai iced tea. It is for this reason that we might have spent between $29-$35 each. Definitely satisfying and filling. The best Thai restaurant from all the other best thai restaurants I have eaten at. I think this is the best! Absolutely recommend this place, and will definitely come back! Happy Tummy!
