CONTINUED POOR OFFICE PRACTICES- As I am stuck at home, hemorrhaging my monetary funds since I'm forced out work. Dr. Rincon and associates want to push my follow-up visit farther in month be "he has to attend a conference". I asked if my follow-up can be done any sooner. They said it has to be two weeks (which I can understand). However, my surgery was on a Sunday and my follow-up was originally scheduled on a Tuesday, so clearly it's possible, if they had a shred of decency and compassion. Even with it being rescheduled, it won't be with Dr. Rincon anyway-- it'll be with a nurse. Therefore, all my required paperwork (FMLA and FTD) will have to be sent to him and I'll have to wait (yet again) for it to be signed and sent back (remember for the $50 fee on top of your co-insurance/co-pay). And I am sure it won't be on his priority list to complete the task quickly.

POOR BEDSIDE MANNER/CROOKED OFFICE PRACTICES. (3/24) I had to have an emergency appendectomy from acute appendicitis so I didn't really have a choice of surgeon. When the OR was being prepped, everything was ready but we were still waiting on him. Then when he did arrive, his first words were, "You should thank all of these people here that came into work for you," along with other immodest comments. (While I am in agonizing pain waiting for the surgery). I am grateful for the surgical service he conducted on me (but that's about it) as it seems to be healing okay so far. He didn't even come to my room to check on my recovery before discharge. I am stuck out of work with no wiggle room for return-to-work date so I am forced to use FMLA. But, Rincon charges $50 just to scribble some words on a form I need to get my FMLA approved (that I have to go in person; so I can't go to work but I have to make an in-person visit for this). Really? I am already financially drained from the hospitalization with forced loss of wages and the Rincon office wants to squeeze out more money for a single form. That's crooked in my mind.

I am so grateful that I dismissed this man before he was able to operate on me. He is a lazy, dismissive, and arrogant person. IF YOU ARE OVERWEIGHT, do not expect to be treated with respect by this man. He constantly talked over me and manipulated my words just so he could try to get a wise crack in. When I first met him I got a feeling from him that he was judging me because of my weight. I came in to the hospital for a gallbladder issue and after telling him that I had gallbladder attacks after having food that was fatty or greasy he reductively said, Well then dont eat fatty and greasy food. He also told me that I should ideally be staying away from fish, chicken, pork, and beef. When I asked him what I SHOULD be eating, he said, Youre going to actually have to cook for yourself. He tried to made it seem as if I eat take-out and fast food for every meal. He did not want to perform surgery on me initially, and suggested that I treat my gallbladder via medicine. I had to request my own ultrasound, and when it showed that my gallbladder was not functioning as it should, he scheduled a surgery without even telling or consulting me first. It was as if he was too arrogant to admit that I was correct about my gallbladder needing to come out. After reading these reviews it further solidified my belief that he is not the best surgeon for me or really for anyone.

This Dr is horrible. Terrible bedside manny and avoids communication with patients. Make false and damaging statements in his reports. I dismissed him while in hospital in middle of my care as his attitude, unprofessionalism and false statements could potentially lower my level of care. I was assigned him by hospital. If you have ability to choose stay away from this dr. After my dealing with him I strongly believe the other negative reviews could be an accurate portrayal of this horrible dr. Stay away choose someone else.
