They keep the animals in steel cages and fought the NIH on the release of chimps. The NIH already stated the need for animal testing to this degree was outdated, but the people who work here still want to torture animals. It's sick.

Texas Biomed is extremely rich in history and continuing to be on the forefront of biomedical engineering to ensure we are all one step ahead of viral infections. I enjoyed my time working here and was able to take a lot from it. For any one who has never worked inside a research institute please educate yourselves before leaving a 1 star review. Our animals are treated BETTER than those at a zoo; we have an extended staff of veterinarians and care takers who treat each animal with the utmost care. It is a result of the research that we do that: you don't have polio, your household pet is healthy, transplantation of organs is safe, medicine is more widely available and the list goes on.
