W. Cannon Lewis

Dr. Lewis is an overall great doctor as well as a great surgeon. He leverages his expertise in robotic surgery for minimally invasive procedures as much as possible. He's thoroughly explained things and answered my questions without a lot of medical jargon. I've had 4 surgeries with Dr. Lewis and will seek him out for any future applicable surgery needs.

Amazing surgeon. Great bedside manner. Took the time to answer any and all questions. Procedure was exactly as he described. Personally Called my wife after and told her how it went. Highly recommend

The lack of communication from the scheduling dept is absolutely absurd! I was scheduled for an appointment in early Feb but couldnt make my appointment and I called several times to reschedule days ahead and never heard a word backfinally, when I did weeks later, Gilbert calls and says oh I got your voicemails and canceled your appointment I didnt need to speak to you for that because you didnt mention rescheduling in a snarky tone. To make a longer story short he rescheduled me at that time for a later date. Fast forward to day of procedure it was early morning dark and raining cats and dogs on my way there I was in a collision in the horrible weather, injured, and carless needless to say I was transported by ambulance for my injuries. I called as soon as I could to tell the OR what happened (same day). Days later I received a call from Gilbert berating me about missing my appointment I had no control over mind you I was still injured, heavily medicated and in bed. He was combative and didnt listen to a word I tried telling him about what happened! Since then I received another call from Lori about 3 weeks ago promising to reschedule my appointment finally but mentioned scheduling conflicts and said If she could call back crickets no call back since! The lack of communication and professionalism is non existent. Good luck if your trying to get in Id look elsewhere!

Dr. Lewis is a fantastic colorectal surgeon. His bedside manner is great, and incredibly knowledgeable. And of course a steady hand!
