North star mall JC Penney optical has great promotional frames that really helped me get the most out of my VSP benefits .. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and professional made the drive from New Braunfels and was definitely worth it!

I prefer Yahoo but I had to make a gmail just to comment. I purchased glasses here 3 months ago. I got 2 pairs for about $169!! Lovethe price and love the glasses! The staff is friendly and bilingual making it easy for myself and my mom to speak to the associates. The optical is NOT Closed. I was told they were doing so well they decided to move the optical to the 1st floor. Its very upscale and very accessible. I was reading the comments below. Todd Terry its call LUNCH people have to eat! Also the hours I was told are extended now like the JCP store which is WONDERFUL! Jose Macumba as for your comment to my knowledge with my high prescription if its strong you can only make the lenses as thin as the prescription allows! The nerve of some people making bad comments because its their fault not the business. I for one had a great experience and will be taking my husband to get his glasses here next!!

asked for thinnest lens and did not get it. Lens was thick around frames and noticeable. Then contact lenses did not match prescription. Waste of our time and money. It’s March 28, 2018 and this is an update. The JC Penny Optical lens department has been closed.

Been there twice and both times closed. Its 249pm and there is a sign thats says we'll be back soon 3pm. The posted hours are 11am to 7pm for today.
