Verns Auto Repair

I brought in my 01 Ford Ranger. There was a knocking noise and I was afraid I was about to throw a rod or something was wrong with the transmission. JD called the next day and told me it was nothing near that major. I was expecting 1000 plus in repairs...but for under 350 it's running great! If you're looking for a guy with honesty and integrity he's the man! I won't go anywhere else

i took my car here to run diagnostics because the engine was making a weird sound. After taking it to Verns, they completely eased my worries! I dropped my car off for a day or two just to see if there was anything wrong! The mechanic was very honest and told me to please not to go back to the auto shop i took my car to before them! turns out that that auto shop didnt give me an oil change and my car was running on barely any oil! im so appreciative of the mechanics that looked at my 2011 nissan rogue! :)

Ill start by saying, they did a great job fixing my vehicle. I was only disappointed in the responsiveness and time efficiency. I had our truck towed to Verns at 9am on a Friday. I called maybe an hour later and left a voicemail to make sure it arrived safely and to go over what issues we were having with it. No response. I called again at 3pm just to have contact with the shop and left another voicemail. They finally called back an hour later to ask what was wrong with it. I asked if we can expect it to be ready for pick up by the end of the day and he said yes. I called right after 6 because I still hadnt heard anything or received a phone call with the status of our vehicle and again there was no answer. They called back 20 minutes later and finally got a diagnostic of the issue. But he kindly let me know that it would be ready by noon on Monday because they dont work weekends. Monday at 1pm rolls around, so I called once again to check the status. He said he doesnt know where they were at with it because the mechanic is still on lunch. But he would call back in 10-15 minutes to let me know. After another hour, he calls back to let me know the new part is in but they still had to do drive cycles with it to make sure its running the way it should. We were finally able to pick up our vehicle 5pm on Monday. It runs great which is why I gave 2 stars. But we wont be going back due to the lack of communication.
