I appreciate the part in which they have undeservedly helped us, but I have great disagreement with the poor conduct regarding financial aid and the misinformation of each of those who assisted us. #1 They gave us the first check almost 1 year after it arrived and to give us the check for the first 6 months they did not require an English course but only the denial of TANF. #2 After giving us this 1st check, which was in the month of July, they told us that we had to study 40 hours of English to receive the 2nd check. 40 hours that they taught with intermittent teachers, and with a frequency of 1.5 hours Thursday and Friday adding 3 hours each week, in addition to the fact that the classes were not constant because the teachers took their vacations and left weeks without teaching classes, making the periods they will lengthen more. We started that same month but they never said that if they did not finish the 40 hours before the fiscal year they would not give us the second check with the remaining 6 months. The course started in July and the next month we completed the year. We feel deceived and manipulated. I do not regret the English but it is very unfortunate that some time after finishing the course when we presented our certificates they told us that the Funder had closed the fiscal year and we were no longer entitled. Regardless of the fact that our case is a family that includes a minor.
