    Booked last minute as our flight was delayed 4 hours to get to TX. After finally arriving we were happy with location and price. I was.shoked by the $100 incidental charge, but what can you do?!? I asked for a late checkout since we arrived at 2am and was told it wasn't available.......From what I can tell they are upgrading, our room was okay, very loud in hallway though. Also, our soaps were out in our bathroom and our room came with only 1 body towels.

    The staff is awesome. Every little need was delt with quickly and efficiently. I was there for 25 days having a surgery almost next door and they were at the ready to help with anything I needed. The rooms are a little outdated but they seem to be updating continually. New hall trim was installed while I was there making it look much better. I have never stayed at a hotel with such courteous people. Very friendly and helpful. Rooms: Somewhat outdated but very clean. The staff was right on any needs we had. Walkability: Within walking distance to stores and medical facilities. Noteworthy details: Nest to Costco and Walmart. Also 1 building away from the south Texas surgery hospital and 1 block away from north central Methodist hospital. Breakfast is a normal continental with added scrambled eggs and sausage. All very fresh. Easy access to major freeways. Downtown is minutes away even in rush hour traffic.

    The hotel was fine except when my husband found two cockroaches. Also we couldn't figure out to get the TV to work. Once we did we didn't shut it off.
