Everything about this place is a 10. From the service to the rooms to the location. I always stay Hilton and finding this gem in San Antonio is a huge plus. This will be where I will be staying now every month for all my work visits.

I traveled a lot for work I'm always looking for nice good clean hotels this is a nice clean Hotel nice area plenty of stores to shop in make groceries at so it's very nice the staff is nice as well

Clean hotel, easy access to 1604 and 281. The free breakfast is worth the cost. My issue is allowing trucks to park overnight in the no-parking areas in front of the hotel. This puts ALL guests at risk and management doesn't care. My family and I will stay elsewhere next time.

When we were booking the hotel there weren't any one bedroom suites so we decided to reserve a king suite. The day of arrival a one bedroom king suite became available so we decided to upgrade our room. We had to wait an extra 30 minutes to check in because they said they were still cleaning the room. Unfortunately once we got into the room we realized they did not really clean the room. There was food on the floor, food splatter all over the garbage and under the sink, the counters looked like they had been surfaced clean and the bathtub had black grud and mildew all over it. Thank God I brought my disinfectant wipes with me. I had requested that they send someone up to reclean the bathroom and nobody showed up. I ended up cleaning the room myself. We spent 3 days there and felt completely dirty the entire time that we was there.
When I went to check out I had complained about the fact that the room was dirty and that I had cleaned it myself and had asked them if we could get a partial refund for the room. The gal who was working said she didn't have the authority to do it and she would have to call her manager. She told me she didn't want to check me out until she had physically spoken to her manager and then proceeded to tell me that because the charge was from a third party, she probably wouldn't be able to refund it. However, the upgraded price was not charged by a third party. They physically charged my credit card while I was there. In fact, the additional charge was put on a completely separate card then I had booked the trip for. They wanted to argue with me about the fact that that had occurred, said that is wasn't possible.
I've been to quite a few home2 suites and for the most part they have been immaculate. This one unfortunately did not meet my expectation and I would never recommend that anybody stay at this facility.
Besides the fact that my room was dirty, the lobby bathrooms were backed up and had fecal matter left behind in the toilets. I'm pretty sure there was even fecal matter on the elevator buttons as there was some brown substance on one of the buttons when we are leaving the hotel. Talk about ruining my experience. This makes me not want to stay at home2 Suites ever again.
