Compassus

Our family used both palliative care and hospice for my brother. They were kind, compassionate and caring. They did an exceptional job and were very responsive! We could not have gone through this process without them. From the intake interview to the final day they were helpful!

My family and I entrusted this Hospice service with the care of my grandfather during a challenging time. Although the nurses displayed compassion, our experience was marred by difficulties reaching the company promptly in critical situations, leading to undue stress. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this company, especially since even when my grandfather passed away, it still took hours to receive a response.

Brandy, Bonnie, Lisa and Kim have always been amazing nurses for the last 3 family members I've had under their care. They are very loving, caring, gentle, understanding compassionate not only with the patient but with the entire family and process.

My husband has been ill since April 2022 and it was very difficult to say the least running back and forth to the ER hospital stays and rehab stays thankfully our PCP was able to have compassus be able to come and help us they began their service with us on 7/3/23 from the moment they came on board my stress level went down at least 50% our nurse Lisa we have is wonderful and I can talk with her I know everyone is busy but when they come they do not hurry they take their time to care for my husband as well as me. It is such a relief to know that help is just a phone call away. I am fairly new to San Antonio and it is difficult living in a strange place and the few family I have here have their own medical issues so now I don't feel so alone caring for my husband. One time I needed nurse Lisa to come and help me with my husband he was out of control and she came and helped me I cannot say enough if I did not have them I don't think I would be able to continue to care for my husband at home anymore I am trying to keep him with me as long as i can. So their services are priceless. Anyone I have dealt with is caring compassionate and really do a great job. They are outstanding in their field and I will be forever grateful for their service.

WARNING---BEWARE---In home attening nurse zeroed me as I was stunned she had a problem with Me not at all focusing on my Parent in Hospice Status, her anger was so powerful she began to roughly handle parent in her unleashing her rage on me. I stated you need to get back to tending to parent when she turned Beet Red and Hit my parent with her stethescope in the face while Scooping up all of her gear while she ragingly stated I feel threatened by you and I feel you are a danger to me---as she slung our door open I retorted I've done Nothing Physically or Verbally to make you feel that way in any form of fashion as she stormed away leaving our front doot wide open. Police report made out as PD stated she called and stated I had done all she stated above BUT she caught herself in our own Horrific lies as we have not only ourdoor surveillance systems but Indoor also as the incident was captured as we were also told she was going to file charges against me/us, so far nothing BUT Heed this WARNING---AFTER WE REPORTED THIS TO THEIR MAIN OFFICE OUT OF WHAT RECALL WAS TENNESS THEY SIDED WITH HER , THIS WAS SO HORRIFIC. OUR PARENT WENT ON TO SURVIVE HOSPICE AND WAS RELEASED TO CARRY ON A NORMAL LIFE. BEWARE TO THE WSE, CAMERAS ARE EVERYWHERE NOW--EVERYWHERE---
