Don't get your curly hair cut here They used a fine tooth comb on my dry hair as well as thinning shears (excessively). My curl pattern is completely lost, it will take more than 3 yrs to recover.

I'm an Alamo Heights K Charles customer by wonderful chance as that is where I met Edward a true Aveda Artist :) some time ago at the Stone Oak location. I was shopping for a new stylist for my daughter who had a problematic color treatment to deal with (from another salon). It was quite the project! He did such a wonderful job for her that I ended up leaving my own stylist and becoming his regular client, as well. Edward is not just a hair genius but a lovely human. The staff is always polite and on-time. Lauren is the best hair stylist and pays very close attention to how you want your hair cut and styled.

K. Charles is an outstanding salon and has been my go-to for many years. Their stylists always pull off a perfect mens haircut for me. Their brow-shaping service is equally great for men. I love the way I look when I get out of the chair, or off the table. Aside from the fact this is a fantastic Aveda salon, it also the best you will find in San Antonio. If you are an 09er, K. Charles on Broadway is a must. Special shout out to Alexy, who is a hair-hero stylist, to Sylvia, who always produces a snatched brow look and to Mia who runs the front of the house and who used to cut my hair. Ive never had a service performed here that I was unsatisfied with! Scheduling is very easy and the staff takes the time to get to know their customers. I appreciate the work of every staff member there. Everyone is wonderful. Id give 10 stars if I could! Listen up men, if you want to look good for your significant other, a low quality hair cut with a barber is not going to do the job. Give this salon a try. It works for me!
