Floor Busters All Floor Removal

Chris Solis came to the rescue when a tiler we had initially hired to take out our old tile all the way to the concrete decided to not take it all the way to the concrete, but instead filled in the floor with self leveler. Chris came into a mess and left it in beautiful shape for new porcelain tile to be installed. He not only had to take up the old thinset, but also layers of self leveler. He did a fantastic job! I have taken off a star because Chris referred me to a "master tiler" by the name of JAMES BELTRAN. JAMES came highly recommended by Chris, therefore I chose to use him. JAMES works with his brothers, and they did a decent job on our tile installation (there was some lippage and uneven spacing between tiles as they didn't use spacers). We chose to get new baseboards at this time as Chris Solis' statement of "it's like wearing a new dress with old shoes" stuck in my head. One of the Beltran brothers, Steve, does the baseboards so the old baseboards were ripped out and replaced with new. The problem is that Steve left some of the baseboards undone and the corners are a disaster! Stupidly I paid before he came back to finish. I asked them to come back to fix them over and over, then I asked if they had someone else that would come to finish them, or if they would give me money back to pay for a carpenter to come fix them. At first it was excuse after excuse as to why he couldn't come back, and then they completely ghosted me and stopped replying to any of my texts. It is now 3 months later and nothing has been fixed. Chris and Floor Busters did do a great job, but his recommendation of JAMES BELTRAN has lead me to leave this review. If you hire Chris/Floor Busters and he recommends JAMES BELTRAN DO NOT USE HIM OR HIS BROTHERS, JESSE AND STEVE!!!

Excellent. I had several layers of different residual adhesives and leveling compound that previous owners had let accumulate on the slab over the years, plus unusually thick thin-set in other areas: a difficult job. I tried chisels, a rented electric stripper/scraper, and Diamabrush attachments on a buffer and an angle grinder. It would have taken me weeks. So I called around. Chris at Floor Busters 210 was the most responsive and professional, and quoted a price less than half of the next lowest bid. They came out a few days later with an impressive dust extraction system and serious tools. And they did it the hard way, by hand a few inches at a time, when necessary. The concrete now looks new. Had I not already bought hardwoods, I might have considered just leaving the concrete exposed. This morning, the hardwoods installer took pictures to show his usual demo/prep subcontractor what an install-ready subfloor should look like. Floor Busters 210 did excellent work, ahead of schedule, on budget, and with a smile. Excellent.
