San Antonio Fire Department Station #41

Paramedics must think no one else works in healthcare. Paramedics cannot diagnose, thats not in their scope and those at this station in particular certainly do not have the tools and relevant experience to do so. Do not tell a geriatric pt they have whatevers going around. You do not have the ability to know that. Sepsis kills, fast. Several members of the community they are supposed to serve have dealt with this unethical practice. The next time a lazy paramedic comes and engages in the disgusting practice of using intimidation to get a refusal, theyll be hearing from a lawyer the second their boot hits the sidewalk.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting the firemen and EMTs. I am so greatful for taking me by ambulance to university hospital. I truly felt cared for. Keep doing the awesome job you do. You don't get credit enough for all your hard work.

I'm not sure if this is the department that responded to my call from 9247 Ridge Grove last evening, but if not, please relay! After the diligence in tracking the gas smell and advising my neighbor to call CPS, they ended up being here for about 6 to 7 hours with a large crew. It wasn't a meter, but a pretty major leak in a pipe! Only God knows what could have happened if the chain of events hadn't played out as they did. Thank you all!!!
