A-1 Fire and Safety

Brought in some extinguishers, not only did it take an absolute eternity, but they were filthy. The the employees were screaming profanities from the shop. The woman at the front desk was rude and inconsiderate about my concerns. Will not be returning.

We have a commercial office/warehouse company with about thirty tenants and have been using and recommending A-1 Fire and Safety since the 1960's when the Williams family owned it. The last time we needed fire extinguishers I brought in two and exchanged them for two refurbished ones at a cost slightly below buying them new. The extinguishers that I received were NOT in as good of shape as the ones I brought in. This time I brought three extinguishers in perfect condition and had them recharged and brought up to date for that very reason. I waited over two weeks to get them back and was charged the price of $188.36. When they put them in my new SUV, I noticed that they were so filthy with dust and dirt that I didn't want them in there. When I took one back to show them and complained about the filthy extinguishers, Michele Jones said "we don't clean them up anymore". I told her that that is no way to conduct business, and we would not be doing any more business with them. By the way, these were to be used in an indoor children's play area for birthday parties and get togethers. It would have taken all of a few minutes to wipe the dirt and dust off of them. We're done with them.
