I had a 3 month follow up rescheduled from April 8th to the 22nd due to battle of flowers. I show up, told I dont have an appointment with just a vague note on my account stating left voicemail to reschedule. Their medical clerks cant keep track of patient information here apparently, there was another patient who showed up after me who also thought they had an appointment. Told their doctor would not be in today, even though they were rescheduled as well. Next available appointment is August for a morning appointment, July if I schedule in the afternoon. If their staff cant be trusted to keep track of appointments how can they be trusted to keep track of your medical records? Will be searching for a new office. Adding to it as this still pisses me off, 3 years later: I initially called to make an appointment at the advice of my gyno in the fall of 2021. She wanted me to get a full physical done with a PCP which I dont have due to having early signs of pre diabetes. This was one of the recommended clinics. Since they were in the same area and had reputable reviews, I decided to try going here. I called to say I wanted to set an appointment because I needed to get a physical. Now, this was still during a lot of health protocols being enforced due to COVID, so I was told I needed to do my first appointment as a video call. I agreed and set the appointment. I get through the video call, thinking ok, this was like a typical consult, no time lost. I get set for an appointment in person. I ask if this when Ill have the lab work done for my physical, I was told yes. Ok great. Appointment comes, almost a month later, and I wait up front for quite a while. Then I get called to the back, thinking Im going to get vitals and lab work done while I wait for the doctor. Nope, just more sitting and waiting. Finally I get to see the doctor. Still no lab work. She basically recaps the tele appointment. Essentially says the reason I dont lose weight and why Im pre diabetic is because Im a food addict. No regard for the fact that it runs in my family, dad is diabetic, and despite my history actually showing I tend to have low blood sugar levels. Says I need to learn how to eat healthy, mind you I tend to skip meals, hence the low blood sugar levels. I dont hide food or snacks. I know when to stop. I know how to cook healthy meals, I just dont have the time or motivation to meal prep and cook dinner after a 12 hr day. I digress. I disagree with her and she gives me a referral for a counselor for mental health. I ask what about the physical and lab work? Says well get you scheduled for that next time. I get it scheduled for April. Then thats when my original post starts. Im still so mad about this I havent even tried to look for a PCP because Im worried itll be the same experience.

My first visit was great. The doctor was engaged and proactive. Unfortunately there was poor communication with scheduling and office management which led to missed appointments and long periods of time before a makeup appointment could be made.

Dr Ramirez is a truly caring and skilled neurologist. I am very pleased with him and his staff. It took me a while to find the best neurologist. He was worth the wait.

Just received a call from a collection agency falsely claiming I owed these people money. When back in December I paid at time of service due to the insurance copay requirements and it was not recorded correctly by the desk staff. I called months ago to their billing department and gave them proof of payment at time of service. They said they would correct their billing mistakes. I called again they said it was fixed and it should not be a problem. I just got a nasty call from someone saying I owed money from my insurance deductible that was not paid apparently at time of service. They collected payment at the time of service 6 months ago! Do your business elsewhere! These guys take your payments at the front desk but dont bother crediting your accounts correctly even after showing receipts. PS: Read the higher reviews and you can tell they are fake.
