Horrible experience! Wasted my money and time! Tana M. Koudelka is the structural engineer she gave us some plans that were over kill. We had the geotech report reviewed by two other engineers one in Austin, and then in Marble Falls area they both laughed and said she had no idea what she was doing and that she was drawing out plans for a commercial building. We also had the geo report reviewed and we were told it was not even consistent with what she produced. Our architect and foundation contractor all tried to speak with Oscar Guerra (Cadd tech/inspector) and they got no where. They would not do anything to listen to the concerns. The plans were going to cost an extra 8 thousand dollars for foundation. The trenches were drawn to be dug 32 inches at least, with unnecessary trenches to be dug, and the rods were #7 steal. They do not care what it will cost you they over kill the plans and it will cost you!!! Today my husband calmy spoke with Tana and she was extremely unprofessional and vile she would not budge or even make some arrangement to take her plans back or provide some refund. She is a stubborn old german woman with no customer service. She is all about money and not her clients! She basically told my husband to get a lawyer and hung up on the phone! We have found a new engineer that will be doing the structural engineering on our home the correct way, and yes we have to pay again but the money we save on the foundation is thousands. It makes such a difference to work with someone who understand the soil you are building on. We lost money and time dealing with Tana and her ridiculous worthless plans.
