I'm very cautious about my best buy purchases because their return policies are not as customer friendly as their competitors. In the past I've found many limitations and penalties in the best buy small print. Recently I bought a cell phone that was on sale, so rather than searching through all the generic fine print to see what applied to my purchase, I went straight to the customer service desk for pick up and ask them to explain the return policies on the item I was preparing to buy. I was told there was a 2 week return window without limitations as long as the item was in new condition. After the purchase I learned the phone would not work for my purpose so I returned it. It was still in the original plastic. I was charged a $45 fee because the item was a "programmable device". It had not been programmed, and was still in the original plastic. In my purchase I experienced a poorly trained customer service employee who gave me incorrect information, fine print financial penalties, and a return manager who would not waive the penalty for a return still in the original plastic. In my opinion best buy has become a buyer beware shopping experience.
