I review customer service by the integrity, friendliness, competence, and care for the customer's experience at the business. It's not whether items or service given, costs $1, tens, or hundreds of dollars. This specific review is about a small amount of money. On January 28th, 2024, I brought in a new dress shirt to be "pressed only". The lady charged me $3.00, since it was not being cleaned and starched. She said it would be ready about 4:30 pm on January 29th, 2024. I came back with the paid receipt. The manager now was working the shift and increased the price by over double to $6.50, like it was a full cleaning and would not honor what was charged and paid for. She said, "you still owe $3.50". When I explained I paid in full what was asked and showed her the receipt, she would not honor it. She said she would talk to her employee about what she charged me, as she should have charged more. Initially, I was told by the mgr she saw the shirt being pressed early in the morning. I picked up the item....in late afternoon. But, later she told me it was a rush job and to do it, it should cost more...to justify her doubling the price. It's the principle and lack of ethics of the manager, who would not honor a fully paid receipt for cleaning. I cannot recommend any business who overcharges customers by double, when a service has already been paid for in full to the cashier the day the item was dropped off. I did give a one star to this business, as the shirt was pressed properly. This review is my opinion of the business. I hope others will have a better experience in the future.

We had a shirt and suit pants dry cleaned here. They lost the suit pants. We gave them 5 days to find them, at which point we needed to attend a wedding wearing the suit in question. They would not pay for the entire suit, even though the pants are not sold separately. We found a close match and gave her the bill. She paid us with a check. A day after the wedding, she's finally found the pants. She leaves us a message saying she's stopped payment on the check that we've already deposited and to please pickup our pants. She then refuses to pay any fees incurred because she stopped payment on the check. Now we're left having to use the legal system to resolve this stupid issue caused by gross incompetence on their part. I would not trust them with my dirty gym socks. I never updated this, but they refused to pay the $15 bounced check fee. So, I sued them and won. They had to pay $15 plus $140 filing fee. So remember, when you're wrong, stand your ground and lose 10 times more. Smart business.
