I have been a patient of Dr. Thompson for years. He is a wonderful dermatologist. I am covered in moles and I had been afraid to see a dermatologist in fear of being cut up. He set my mind at ease and assured me that was rarely medically necessary. Every year he checks me head to toe and has never cut anything off. I just wish I could pay his bills online or with a credit card. The only way to pay is by mailing a check. Please update your billing system.

Agree with most of the posts. What really disturbs me is his billing. Saw him a month ago and charged $400 for a 5 minute visit. Froze 2 spots on my body with Q-Tip from canister that probably costs $20 and charged me $270 for this. Double billed me before this visit which I had to dispute. The paying cash for co-pay is also strange. Not sure if he is trying to avoid paying taxes on this or is just frugal in not having to pay credit card companies. Beware of what you are being charged when seeing him. There are much better choices out there...

Great doctor! Really took care of my mom when she had skin cancer. I would highly recommend this dermatologist to anyone in San Antonio.
