A-B Dental & Oral Surgery

What a horrible experience. Took my 90 year old dad there to get teeth extracted and make partial dentures for uppers and lowers. We paid for them on December 5, 2023 and were told they would be ready in a week or two. One week later we went back to have a follow up on the extractions. They said the scans for the dentures were no good and he had to be rescanned. They still said they would be done in a week. On Dec. 20th I called them. They told me they would have to call me back. They never did. I called the next day and they told me that the lab was closed for the holidays, but they would call me when they were in. I called them January 8th. They took a message and never called back. On Jan. 9th I called back and they told me they would put a rush on it. On Jan. 24th, I called and I was told that Dr. Osei was on vacation for the week, but they would call me next week. After hearing nothing, I called them on Feb. 15, they promised to call back and never did. On Feb. 16 I showed up at their office unannounced and demanded to know what was going on. I was told that the dentures had never been ordered, but that Dr. Osei would hand deliver the scans that day to the lab. On Feb. 23rd we received the bottom dentures, but had to rescan for the tops. Dr. Osei said that they would be there one week later. I couldnt make that day, so I scheduled the appointment for March 1st. I got there and the teeth werent there 1 week after they were supposed to be there. I made an appointment for March 6th. They were finally there. My 90 year old dad went from December 5th to March 6th without being able to eat solid food (thats 3 months), while he had been promised that it would only take a week or two. The employees were still telling me on March 1st that it was because the lab was closed for the holidays, not realizing that I had already been told on Feb.16th that they never actually ordered the dentures in the first place. Every time I showed up and wanted to talk to Dr. Osei he hid in the back and told his employees to tell me he was in surgery (not realizing that I could hear him from the front desk). I never received an apology from the Doctor and the dentures did not fit well. My dad made them fit better by using sandpaper to mold them to his gums. He still doesnt like them because they dont fit quite right. But he refuses to go back to AB Dental. Please stay away from this place. Youve been warned.

My first time at AB Dental and I was very impressed by the whole staff! Very professional! The facility was super clean!

Doctor Osei caught what decades of other dentists had missed or misdiagnosed for decades. And he did it in less than 15 minutes; pure genius.
