I agree that USAA's popularity is because they seem to have veterans support. I have never been late for one payment over my years of membership. They allow you to easily get in debt, once in their trap, they only care that you make payments or else. They have no business claiming to be a great credit union for Veterans and Military! I already cancelled my insurance because of their practices and will cancel credit cards when i can pay them off.

USAA
Ive spent hours trying to remedy a claim.
NO ONE ever returns E-mails or calls despite over 10 requests. They certainly continue to contact me when they want money. I was also hoping to get my children under the USAA family but the pricing was far more expensive.
ZERO STARS USAA for denying coverage/claim I was told would be included PRIOR to starting with USAA.
This was a blatant lie to my face.
Shame on USAA for pretending to have VETERANS backs.

Dont expect them to honor being a member for 18 years when it comes time to file a claim for glass replacement. They will pull the rug out from under you after the fact when you try to get reimbursed. This company has lost track of how it started and who its supposed to serve. Closing all my accounts after this experience.

Do not do any business with them. They put on this facade that they are sooo great, but will hose you at any given moment. Please find a local credit union as you will be much happier!
