San Antonio Metropolitan Health District

The wait time is ridiculous at this place, and the service is horrible as well. Not to mention the violation of HIPPA Laws this establishment practices. Recommend other locations.

The food inspection dept. is crooked. They seem to target local Tex-Mex spots, especially on the South Side, but then give all of the big name restaurants an immediate pass. I frequently drive for Uber Eats so I've seen the inside of about 500-1,000 restaurants in San Antonio at this point, and I promise you, it's those big name ones that are the dirtiest BY FAR. Taco Bell, McDonald's, Wendy's, Popeyes, etc. Every single time I go in, they have a 97 and up score from our useless health dept, but none of the staff are wearing gloves, there's trash every where, cleaning supplies right next to the food, the cashier handles the food right after handling the money (without gloves), staff's aprons are dirty, messy hair sticking out from under their hats, sticky dirty floors and tables, trash can overflowing, flies everywhere. I've seen really disgusting stuff, and they always have a perfect score from the city. But for some reason, this same dept suddenly does stuff by the book and finds every little thing wrong on the South Side or in local family restaurants.
