San Antonio Code Enforcement

They suck. Issue code enforcement tickets but cant provide the actual code that is being violated. Worthless.

Code enforcement is letting landlords get away with not complying to repairs and safety issues. I just had a broken door lock for 1 month 2 weeks that the fire dept had to even bring extension ladders to get into my place. Code enforcement lied for landlord in their report and said owner complied. No owner didnt comply not even after a shooting almost hit my place. My son had to come over and put 2 new locks on. 1 month and 2 weeks later at my cost since I was unable to lock my door even when leaving my apartment. He was appalled for he is a K9 cop. So far 3 of us are calling KSAT and Channel 4 news to investigate whats happening on this property. City is helping landlords get away with non compliance

I Feel Sorry for anyone who lives on a Zero Lot Line. My Neighbor Has Sloped Concrete over my (allowed)(owned) 5ft Easement directly into the side of my house. After notifying Code Enforcement Officials of property restrictions Set-Backs; and Exclusive and Concrete Restrictions nothing has or will be done. Code Enforcement seems to only care about Plats-and-Ownership. They will not consider or-enforce deeded easements and legally notarized(Government) /development documentation.
