Great place to vote! When the rest of the city had long lines, I voted here and every step was great - quick, efficient, friendly volunteers and safe (hand santizer, etc).

Went to Frank Garrett recreation center growing up with my two sisters. Loved it there! Never got to say thank you to all of those that made child hood fun and with so much fun activities. Thank you Sunny for always being an awesome person! You all were always good to us and we learned and experienced so many great things! Thank y'all so much!

I grew up at this Rec Center, in the 90s it was a bad time for the community, a lot of violence around us. Grown ups would always fight on the streets and you could always see a group of kids waiting to try and jump you out of your lunch money, even if you just had just a couple of quarters..I remember going into the indoor basketball court and always getting bullied and getting my ball taken away, leaving me with the flattest ball all the time, I just thought it was a normal thing tbh. But it made me strong and made me stand up for myself, and I always just remember that whenever the staff was involved with you, it would be the best day ever! They always made sure to make you feel special and safe. Ill never forget this place. Im glad to see its finally grown to a better facility!
