Alphabetz Montessori Playground Children are fully engaged and enriched in a beautiful outdoor space. Letting children do things themselves is a core tenet of the Montessori approach. Children are taught several possible applications, such as a counting activity using chalk and pine cones, a work shed where children can hang tote bags containing their materials, and the use of small wheelbarrows and brooms for gardening activities.
We have five playgrounds and three of them are covered with canopies which provide shade and shelter for our children. Special Considerations

Infant (6 weeks-17 months) Our infant program provides a safe, engaging and nurturing environment. This allows each child to promote trust in themselves and their world while developing confidence in their abilities. Toddler (18 months-36 months)

Our toddler program assists in developing gross motor coordination, fine motor skills, and language skills leading to independence in daily tasks.

Early Childhood 3 years-5 years Our early childhood program fosters the growth of independence and cultivates the development of sensory perception, literacy and mathematical understanding. STEM STEM represents science, technology, engineering and maths.

STEM represents

STEM plus the arts-humanities, language arts, dance, drama, music, visual arts, design and new media. We encourage lots of outdoor play. The children plant and grow vegetables which they can then harvest and enjoy them as well by making salads and other food items. The outdoor environment gives children the opportunities to explore, discover, learn and achieve many things.

Fresh Cooked Meals

We take pride in serving fresh cooked meals daily. Our child care food manager and staff ensure that all of the meals we serve meet the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP).
