We spent $70,000 on custom cabinets from Al Briggs...what a huge mistake! Cabinets had numerous scratches/flaws. When they came to spray cabinets, they didn't properly protect surrounding areas and I'm left with overspray on walls, floors, baseboards, inside of cabinets, hardware, toilets, personal items, etc., it's a nightmare. Try removing dried lacquer paint!His employee climbed on top of my brand-new washer/dryer, damaged top and lied about it. After months of dealing with this, we're still left with scratched cabinets. Only reason he even attempted to fix any of the issues is because our builder intervened. Too bad I can't attach pictures here, I will gladly provide them to anyone who wants to see them! Owner never apologized, comes across as very arrogant. wouldn't recommend this company to ANYONE!

I heard a lot about Briggs cabinetry from a friend of mine who is a custom home builder. He said this was the place if you wanted the best cabinets or book shelves.I contacted Briggs cabinets and a guy by the name of Al came out to measure my wall for bookshelves. He was professional, informative, and cared about what I wanted in book shelves. I hired him and man was this the best thing I did. His crew (very professional) brought out my bookshelves and installed them and wow what a difference it made in my house. The quality of workmanship and look is amazing! I later found out Al was the owner of the business and this impressed me that he would be the one on the frontlines of his business. If I could give you a 10 star I would. Briggs built custom cabinets for our kitchen, and we were generally satisfied with the quality of the work, but he completely cut us off as soon as he got paid. We had one minor warranty request (a warped drawer front) that we called him about shortly after installation was complete. We also wanted to hire them to supply some additional shelves. Calls & text messages were ignored, and months passed. Repeated attempts were still ignored, so I finally suggested to Al that I would appreciate hearing from him before I made any move to write a review of his company (it would have been a positive review if he had simply done the right thing for us). He called and left an angry, hostile voice message telling me not to ever contact him again because my communication was perceived as a threat. We simply wanted to hire some additional services and a follow-up warranty check. I would not hire them again. Service: Cabinet construction & installation
