***A TRUE MASTER MECHANIC | FIXED THE FIRST TIME*** During the last 2 decades of my time working in trucking operations, I have worked with hundreds of car and diesel mechanics. Most of them are poor at diagnosing the real issue. Many of them don't do a thorough quality job when they do get the daignosis right. Many still, are poor in communicating with the customer for updates, such as, the status, or changes from the original diagnosis... especially if those changes will cost additional money. One issue that seems to plague the industry is that it is filled with "know-it-all mechanics" who really don't know as much as they think they do. They tell you one thing is wrong, then the problem grows until your initial $300 repair turns into $3,000. Or, they "fix" the issue, you pick up the vehicle, then get 10 miles down the road just to find out that you are now hundreds of dollars in the hole and your vehicle STILL has the same issue as it did before. Shaggy is an exception in an industry that is in desperate need of exceptions. He is a master mechanic who knows his stuff. With one description, listen, touch, test drive, etc. He can accurately diagnosis the REAL issue, and fix it for cheaper than most of the competition. If there is a change of any kind, he is quick to call before proceeding with the work. He answers the phone, and if he happens to be under the hood when you call, he always calls right back. Shaggy has something else many mechanics lack. He has integrity. That virtue alone makes him stand out from the rest.
