RowCal

We recently signed with RowCal as our management company and so far, I have been very happy with what they have done for us. We had an issue with our insurance coverage thanks to our previous company. RowCal's insurance department stepped up and was able to quickly source a new policy for us. We were very concerned that we would run into possible legal issues because of the neglect of the previous company. Thank you to the team at RowCal for getting this taken care of!!!

RowCal apparently assumed management of our HOA at the beginning of the year without any sort of adequate notification. Our neighborhood facebook group has a dozen posts from residents who were sent certified letters from RowCal claiming their accounts are delinquent and threatening action. When you attempt to contact them, they are completely unreachable. Phone calls go straight to voicemail and are unreturned. We were on autopay and are now being threatened with foreclosure because these folks can't run a business properly and won't pick up the phone.

Update as of 04/11/24: the president eventually emailed me and my original issue was fixed. However, nothing has changed. On 04/02/24 I submitted 2 issues via their "care team" email and received the automated response but it's now 04/11/24 (7 business days) and no follow, confirmation, nothing. I also logged into my RowCal portal to see if maybe they added some update there... Nope... I hate the "Work Order" function on their portal because the categories are never accurate of what I'm submitting about which is why I just email their "care team." I wish my complex would fire them (I'm not naming my complex for privacy reasons). --- Resident of Austin, TX. Our property originally was managed by Prism Management (and they weren't great - but at least they replied to things and followed through). RowCal took over them in October 2023. So far, it's been a disaster. I'm not sure if it's due to the transition or they just don't care. I've had a leak coming in from the outside of my unit which falls under the HOA/Property Management to fix. I reported it in October of 2023 (originally with Prism but was already transitioning to RowCal). Multiple emails from our assigned rep goes totally unanswered (ie, I get ghosted). Then I do get a response saying someone came out to fix it, which was funny because I work from home and sit in front of the issue area. No one ever was there. Eventually, after enough pestering the "head of maintenance" for our area came out and verified it wasn't fixed as I was originally told. Now it's February 2024 and it's not been fixed and still multiple emails just being ghosted. RowCal really needs to fix their communication, it's non-existent.

Only great things to say about RowCal. Their customer service is second to none and the communication has been excellent. I highly recommend them for your management company.

Im posting this because I dont want anyone else in this situation. The blue tarp on my skylight was placed there in June of 2023 and continues to be there because its still broken.The eves outside my unit are now buckling and are causing a leak in my bedroom. The rotted fence at this complex is also pictured. I was told it would be repaired in December of 2023. This company is very aware of the situation but I continue to be told theyre in discussion with the insurance company . This does not allow me to be able to begin addressing the water damage this has caused to my unit because the next time it rains, the leaks only get worse. I also dont see how emergency personnel could access this walkway covered in rotted boards.
