Stewart's Premier Painting & Finishing

I did a lot of research on painters in my area before reaching out for quotes and since Stewart's Premier Painting & Finishing had such great reviews, I reached out to them for an estimate. Paul showed up to my house a few days later and the price was very reasonable so my husband and I hired them! While he did a wonderful job painting, I was very disappointed in the work ethic. He told me it would take four days to paint our house and it ended up taking two weeks because he wouldn't stay longer than 5 hours a day to paint. He showed up late every day despite telling me the time he'd be there, would go to lunch for two hours after only being at the house for an hour, and one day only stayed for an hour and didn't even tell me he was leaving. There was always an excuse as to why he either had to leave early or why he showed up late, and I find that unacceptable when you were hired to do the job quickly and efficiently. One day he even asked if my dad could come to help him. I had my dad come help but I feel like I shouldn't have paid as much if he was going to ask me to have someone come help him instead of reaching out the the "crew" he told me he had. After he finished, I noticed that there was paint on the windows, our curtains, and on our floors. This is my husband and I's first home so we expected a lot of care to go into a service we paid good money for. He also left a lot of cigarette butts in our front garden bed and porch which is not only gross but rude. I don't know what was going on, but the reviews I read did not match the service we received. Quality painting when I needed. After flooding they were able to come in and repaint a lot of my problem areas.

The owner Paul Stewart was very easy to work with! He kept the cost reasonable while providing an excellent quality result. Very attentive to detail! Will use again.
